Thawing frozen pipes quickly

A Hot Shot pipe Thawing Kit is technology used by plumbers to quickly thaw frozen pipes. A fee is usually associated with the use of this machine due to wear and tear,  however it is still cheaper than paying an hourly rate for the plumber to thaw the pipes using a manual method such as a heat gun. Heat guns can take up to 10 times longer, and the plumber needs to specifically  target the frozen portion of the pipe. The Hot Shot only needs to be on the correct pipe, the plumber doesn’t need to search for the frozen portion of the pipe. The Hot Shot works on pipes that can transfer current, so it will not work on PVC, PEX, or ABS.
